Kids Triathlon - Saturday September 7th 2019

TO REGISTER:  CLICK HERE

The kid's triathlon will start at 10:00 a.m.  Packet pickup will open at 8:00 a.m.  We will divide kids up at the swim count in corral based on their age and will send them of in waves.  Please have your child over at the swim count in corral in Kershaw Park at 9:45 a.m. to receive any last minute instructions.   Kids may pick up their packets at any of the designated packet pick up times noted above as well as their race day.  This is where your child will be assigned their bib number and swim cap.  Body marking will take place next to the swim corral.  Kids can place their bikes in the transition area starting at 9:00 a.m.  Please make sure that their transition area is set up before they go over to the swim corral.   Find the TA map here.

10 and under race:  this will be an un-timed “fun” event.  Parents may accompany their child the whole way – but please try to stay to the side so that other kids can have room and not a “grown-up” in the way of their race (ALSO please do not bring your own bike, you can run on the sidewalk by them on the bike part)

11+ race:  This race will be timed.  So parents will be spectators, cheerleaders and HELPERS (see below).

RACE TIMELINE:

8:00 - packet pickup begins

9:20 - transition area opens

9:20 - packet pickup closes

9:20 - Body marking begins by sign at registration tent
