Please
allow yourself plenty of time to pick up your timing chips,
get body markings and set up your transition area before the
7 a.m. meeting in transition. Keep in mind that ALL athletes
will be picking up their chips and getting body marking on
race morning.

Because of the nature of the run and swim paths this is as
much detail as is available.
Bathrooms
at Steamboat Landing are NOT available for our use. We will
have 15 outdoor restrooms for event participants and spectators.
They will be located at the side of the transition area. Please
honor this request. Steamboat Landing provides logistical
support to us in order for the event to be successful and
we want to respect their request.
Please be sure to have everything out of the transition area
before getting food, otherwise you will not be permitted back
into the transition area!
THE
KIDS RACE (Approx. Ages 7-15 or at parental discretion.)
The
kids race starts at approximately 11 a.m.
Kids can register race day. The $25 fee INCLUDES USAT one-day
membership fee.
Kids check- in is at Kershaw Park (outdoor tent near Steamboat
Landing)on Race Day between 9:30am and 10:30 am. Kids will
not have timing chips.
The kids transition area will be at the swim corral area.
They will not be able to set up until after the adult races
finish. They can set their bikes along the fence outside of
the transition area if they want.
Parents can pick up their child's packet at packet pickups
or on race day.
The Kids race distances are as follows:
50-yard swim
2.5-mile bike ride
.5-mile run
The awards ceremony will be held after the kids have finished.
We encourage you to cheer on the kids (and all other athletes)
when you have finished your own race!
